NFMT 2019

Another Great Year at the NFMT Conference!

American Energy Services is proud to have taken part in the National Facilities Management and Technology Conference in Baltimore March 26-28!

The annual conference features hundreds of Fortune 500 and growing businesses, as well as universities and government agencies. Thousands of facilities professionals were actively engaged for a week of learning and connecting. The event provided a great opportunity for our team to talk to motivated facilities professionals and form strategic partnerships.

An Incredible Opportunity

Following months of preparation, we took full advantage of the opportunity to get to know hundreds of potential partners. Through valuable discussions around customers’ energy challenges, we were able to show how what we do can turn those challenges into opportunities for better efficiency and significant savings—all while improving organizations’ effects on the environment!

The Baltimore Convention Center was packed to the brim each day, with attendees representing facilities of all kinds, from Federal government to private universities to industrial manufacturers. Our team was met by swarms of guests seeking to learn more about how to improve their energy efficiencies. Our team had a great time engaging with each and every person with whom we spoke—even our President and CEO Jim Caprara was in the aisle having conversations and handing out free laptop webcam covers!

The ChargePoint Electric Vehicle Charging Station we had on display caught the eye of many. Our Sales and Marketing Director Kevin Kutner and Midwest Regional Sales Manager Lee U’Ren took the opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of EV charging to large-scale facilities, including multi-unit housing and parking garages, as well as smaller local businesses. Attendees also sought to learn more about our first-in-industry Service Excellence Program. This exclusive offering provides our customers ongoing maintenance, technology and business reviews, and annual energy health checks over five, seven and even 10 years. Whether we work together to install energy-efficient LEDs, EV Charging Stations, Advanced Monitoring, or Intelligent Controls, our SEP just another example of how AES puts the customer’s needs first.

The Drinks Were On Us!

At the end of each day, we were able to continue our conversations at an AES-sponsored happy hour at Dempsey’s Brew Pub in Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Our full roster of energy solutions experts was on hand to spend time with new connections made at the conference and carry on discussions in a more relaxed environment.

Year after year, the NFMT conference continues to be our favorite event. We love meeting customers, and the NFMT provides an amazing platform for in-person interaction and partnership. The atmosphere of the conference floor is electric, giving the space a sense of community and bringing innovators together with eager decision makers. Feeding off the buzz in the air, our team found great success in fostering a welcoming space in which to interact with customers and resolve real-world energy issues.

We are excited to continue to grow these relationships and evolve each into meaningful partnerships for growth and success!
